Chad Groetsch's travel story began in high school on a two-week tour of France and never really stopped. A six-month study abroad in England through St. Cloud State University turned into solo backpacking across Europe with nothing but a pack and an insatiable curiosity. More trips through the UK and Ireland followed over the years, and when Chad and his travel partner Lisa were ready, they sold the house and put a long-held plan into motion. No fixed destination. No long-range itinerary. Just the next crossroads and whatever it revealed. Over three and a half decades of travel, Chad has learned that the greatest discoveries, of people, places, and cultures, come to those who leave room for them. As the creator behind the YouTube channels No Destination Necessary and Tasting Our Way, he documents that philosophy one unhurried journey at a time. These illustrated talks bring those travels to life through vivid imagery and honest storytelling.
