Join WCHS as we host local author, Cindy Stupnik, on Tuesday, April 19th at 1:30pm here at the Wright County Heritage Center. 'Scruples & Drams' is set in the Clearwater, Minnesota, area, and author Cindy Stupnik will share her reasons for writing this novel, the research necessary to create a historic novel, her next publications, and much more!  Here's a brief description of her book, 'Scruples & Drams':

"With its arch-like trees covering the town, Clearwater provided a safe haven for Jennie Phillips, an apprenticing druggist in her father's store in the late nineteenth century. While on a routine trip to deliver a prescription out in the country, she is alarmed when she encounters what some consider to be the ghost of murdered Irish girl roaming the Tamarack Swamp. She becomes obsessed with the unsolved case."

Please note:  It is not necessary to have read the book to attend any WCHS Book Club presentations. Books will be available for purchase, if desired, in the WCHS Bookstore prior to, during and after the presentation.
