New Curator Welcome & WCHS Open House Event

The Wright County Historical Society invites everyone to attend a very special Open House event on Tuesday, April 5th between 5-7pm at the Wright County Heritage Center (2001 Hwy 25 N, Buffalo) to welcome curator, Lori Nohner, to the Wright County Historical Society. Originally from North Dakota, Lori’s move to Wright County in January 2016 has already proven to be a tremendous asset to WCHS and the community through her hard work developing exhibits and community partnerships, and she looks forward to hearing what themes attendees would like to see exhibited in the galleries.

The WCHS Open House is free, open to the public, and is a come-and-go style event. Light refreshments will be served in the Activity Room. Volunteers will be on hand to give brief tours, highlight gallery exhibits and special activities, including the Hands On History interactive space complete with our special fun-only presidential voting booth, and an overview of genealogical reference library with online resources. In addition, a fun-for-all-ages scavenger hunt, door prizes, and special membership & bookstore pricing will be offered for all attendees, making this event, just like the Wright County Historical Society, fun for all ages! For any other information or questions, please contact Sally Stevens at info@wrighthistory.org or at 763-682-7323.
