The Wright County Historical Society (WCHS) is excited to bring back their in-person Festival of Trees for 2021! The Festival opens on Wednesday, December 1 2021 at 8am and runs through Friday, January 5, 2022.

There is no admission charge required for entrance to the galleries, library, of Festival of Trees, thanks to the Wright County Commissioners commitment to history access for all residents, and our generous donors.

Hours of Operation

M, W-F 8:00am-4:30pm

Tuesdays 8:00am-8:00pm

Sundays 5:00pm-7:30pm (in December only)

Christmas Eve (December 24) 4:00pm-6:30pm

Visitors, vaccinated and unvaccinated, are required to mask while in the Wright County Heritage Center. All participants can vote for their favorite trees, engage in fun activities, write Santa, browse in our holiday gift shop, and upload a picture to Santa. Trees with the most votes will win the coveted WCHS Festival of Trees Medals in multiple categories!


13th Annual Festival of Trees Results

Thank you to the 3000+ visitors who, over the course of five weeks, cast 2757 votes for their favorite Community & WCHS trees and 867 votes for their favorite Law Enforcement category tree.

A total of 64 trees were decorated for 2020, with the community decorating 34 total, our highest participation yet.
