WORKSHOP: French-Canadian Genealogy

Ready to start your French-Canadian research but don't know where to start? Overwhelmed by researching when everything is written in French? Join WCHS archivist Betty Dircks on Thursday, March 29th at 1:30pm for a fact-filled workshop on French-Canadian Genealogy. This session will be held in the Wright County Heritage Center's Activity Room (2001 Hwy 25 N, Buffalo, MN) where Betty, through a series of digital images and documents, will share tips and guidelines to effectively navigate French-Canadian genealogy research. All online examples will be projected on the Activity Room walls; attendees will not be required to use computers during the workshop.

This session is limited to 20 attendees and participation is by RSVP only HERE or at 763-682-7323; WCHS regrets it is not possible to accommodate walk-in’s without a reservation.
