Ready to start your Swedish research but don't know where to start? Overwhelmed by researching when everything is written in Swedish? Join the Wright County Historical Society's Reference Librarian Kay Nordberg for a fact-filled workshop on starting your Swedish Genealogy on Thursday, January 26th from 1:30-3:00pm at the Wright County Heritage Center (2001 Hwy 25 N, Buffalo, MN).
This session will be held in the Wright County Heritage Center's Activity Room where Kay will, through a series of digital images and documents, take you step by step through the sometimes perplexing world of Swedish genealogy research. Topics will include the online ArkivDigital online resource. All online examples will be projected on the Activity Room walls; attendees will not be required to use computers during the workshop. Any participants who have never been WCHS members will also have a one-time opportunity to purchase a discounted annual WCHS membership. WCHS membership is required to access online resources in our genealogical library, however membership is NOT REQUIRED to participate in this workshop.
