The Wright County Historical Society will be holding a Fall Pie Social in conjunction with their Annual Meeting on Tuesday, October 25th from 6:00pm-7:30pm at the Wright County Heritage Center Activity Room (2001 Hwy 25 N, Buffalo, MN). The Pie Social is free for current WCHS members; tickets for non-members are only $10/person. Purchase of a $20 annual individual/family membership before or on Tuesday, October 25th includes free pie social tickets for all family members residing at the membership address. A variety of pies will be available, along with lemonade, tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. The Wright County Heritage Center is open Tuesdays from 8:00am-8:00pm, doors to the Activity Room and the Pie Social will open at 6:00pm. Following the Pie Social, the WCHS Annual Meeting will begin promptly at 7:00pm in the Heritage Center Rural Life Gallery. The meeting includes a slideshow depicting highlights of the year as well as upcoming events for 2016, and offers attendees a 'sneak peak' at WCHS' upcoming exhibits, programs and presentations. The meeting will conclude with voting of the WCHS' 2017 Board of Directors and special recognition awards. A silent auction with treasures, more themed baskets and other goodies will also be offered. The Annual Meeting is free and open to the general public, however only current WCHS members will be eligible to vote.
