WCHS' quarterly Book Club event continues to highlight Minnesota authors and literature! On Friday, September 26th from 1:30-3:00pm, Minnesota author Penny Petersen will speak about her book, “Minneapolis Madams: The Lost History of Prostitution on the Riverfront". The book is a real-life detective story uncovering the history of brothels in the nineteenth-century Minneapolis. Light refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to everyone.
Penny Petersen will have her book available for purchase at a discounted price, or you may bring your own copy for her to sign. If you would be so kind as to RSVP your attendance to 763-682-7323 we can ensure enough refreshments for all, however no RSVP is required to attend.
WCHS staff, along with featured speakers, authors and bibliophiles, will meet in our Activity Room quarterly on 4th Friday of the month (September, December, March & June) between 1:30-3:00pm.
