I only make caramel one time a year but, when I do, I make literally thousands of pieces, all individually wrapped, and all full of rich cream, butter, and sugar. Six dozen pieces, hand-wrapped in holiday caramel paper squares, to be made on Wednesday, December 13th for fresh pick-up after Thursday, December 14th! I can also ship if necessary.

Item #19: Kill It & Grill It

TOP BIDDER:        #725

CURRENT BID:     $46.00

Minimum Bid:          $20.00

My husband, Mark, is the quintessential outdoors guy. This set represents everything he'd love--from the Browning 2-set hunting knives to the snacks to the grill utensil set in its' own box (which he'll probably end up using for shotgun shells once the utensils are out). I threw in an electronic thermometer to avoid steaks becoming, as he calls them after a little too much flame, "ketchup pockets", some seasoning and sauces, flexible grilling skewers and snacks for while you're waiting for your meat to burn. "What's the frame for", he asked? When I replied that it pulls the set together he said, "Huh. I'd just put it all in a bag."  Sheesh.

Minimum Bid:          $10.00

Each year Peggy and her family donates something Twins-related because they are, don't 'cha know, the Twins BIGGEST fans. Their season's tickets allow them to purchase fun gifts like these, and the Fouquettes generously share them with us for our auction. I love this set--an official hat, set of paper plates, ceramic dip & spoon set, and TC bobblehead. I bought some peanuts-in-the-shell to add to this set but accidentally ate them on the 5-minute drive from the store to work, so they're not in the picture. Trust me, next time I'll buy two bags and will make sure to include one in this set too!

My husband Mark is kinda awesome. Last year he built a bunch of heavy-duty freestanding flower boxes for WCHS.  Mana Gardens is pretty awesome too, as they filled one of them (see above) with pollinator plants grown in their greenhouse. When Mary Sue Stevens of Mana Gardens suggested they join together and donate a new planter filled with pollinator plants for the auction, Mark said sure, as long as he can build it in January after hunting season is over!

This 4' long planter is approximately 1' wide. To be delivered in January 2018 and filled with soil & pollinator goodness in late spring 2018.

Item #27: Sunsect Set

Item #27: Sunsect Set

TOP BIDDER:        #725

CURRENT BID:     $38.00

Minimum Bid:          $10.00

My friend Steve Shafer is a super fun guy and incredibly generous, as I received two parcels in the mail from him today for our online auction! Here's the first--a set of his outstanding Sunsect products.  Trusted by the U.S. military for 15 + years, Sunsect is a patented insect repellent + sunscreen (DEET is our active ingredient) combination product that provides lasting protection against biting insects and damaging sunrays. Sunsect is now available to the general public. It repels mosquitoes, ticks, no-see-ums, black flies, sand gnats, gnats, chiggers, chitras and other disease-carrying, biting insects. It is safe for children, unscented, non-greasy, water resistant, dries clear and lasts for hours. Sunsect is Made in the USA!

We believe in this product so much that we purchase a gallon jug with pump each year--it's all we use and you should too as using insect repellent and sunscreen together actually deactivate each other by up to 50%. Sunsect's formula is 100% effective--try it! (Tubes shown are a big 4oz each).
