Patrons
can refer to the Family History Library Catalog at www.familysearch.org to determine what microfilms can be distributed
to our library from the Salt Lake Distribution Center. The cost to a patron for a 30-day in-library microfilm loan is
$5.50 (longer loan time is available for an additional fee) ; there is no cost to use the WCHS research library facility or
microfilm readers. Copier costs are $0.25/page if copies are requested.

Research Requests
All visitors are admitted free into the Society's museum and library. The staff will assist
reference library patrons at no charge, however research must be completed on your own.
The Wright County Historical Society charges for all library and archival research performed by the
museum's staff. The minimum fee for a single research request is for one hour at the rate of $15/hour. There is an additional
charge of $0.25/page for copies made. Payment must be received before a patron's research is mailed to them.
A written summary of work done by the staff will be submitted with the invoice.
The fee is charged for staff time involved in completing the research whether or not an answer is found to the research question.
Researchers requesting searches for Wright County naturalization records,
MN state censuses, death records and Wright County area local obituaries have the option of completing your own research by
borrowing the appropriate microfilm(s) on Inter-library loan through the Minnesota Historical Society. Their address
