WORKSHOP: Norwegian Genealogy Workshop

Ready to start your Norwegian research but don't know where to start? Overwhelmed by researching when everything is written in Norwegian?  Join the Wright County Historical Society's Reference Librarian Kay Norberg and Archivist Betty Dircks for a fact-filled workshop on starting your Norwegian Genealogy on Thursday, April 13th, 2017 from 1:30-3:00pm at the Wright County Heritage Center (2001 Hwy 25 N, Buffalo, MN).

This session will be held in the Wright County Heritage Center's Activity Room where Kay and Betty will, through a series of digital images and documents, take you step by step through the ins and outs of Norwegian research. All online examples will be projected on the Activity Room walls; attendees will not be required to use computers during the workshop. This session is free but space is limited; RSVP's are required by calling 763-682-7323 or through WCHS’s online RSVP by clicking HERE.

Any participants who have never been WCHS members will also have a one-time opportunity to purchase a discounted annual WCHS membership. WCHS membership is required to access online resources in our genealogical library, however membership is NOT REQUIRED to participate in this workshop.
